Marathon Training

The DL FIT Marathon Training Programs aim to enhance Athletic Performance and Longevity. Founder, Daniel Loigerot fine-tunes the Marathon Programs by focusing on improving The Gait Cycle, Increasing the Range of Motion, Greater Flexibility, Stronger Core, Better Posture and Enhanced Muscular Coordination.

 

PROGRAM I (Group Class for 4) Recommended for Marathon-Beginners

 

What it involves – 2 Sessions per week

-          Active Isolated Stretch

-          Elements of Pilates to increase flexibility, balance and co-ordination

-          Cardio Vascular Endurance

-          Calisthenics

-          Muscle Release Technique (Stress Management) for Injury prevention

(Each session is between 45 -55 minutes)

Goals

-          Guide to complement your regular running schedule & improve overall fitness

-          Improve posture, balance and muscular coordination

-          Strengthen your core to support the efforts from your legs

-          Work you through any injuries that surface during this time.

Rate

-          $40 for each session, Pay as you go, or

-          $350 Pre-Paid Value Card for Ten Sessions.

Time: Twice a week (Early Morning and Evening Sessions available)

 

 

PROGRAM II (10-Week Workshop for 4) Recommended for Previous Marathon Runners

 

What it involves – 3 sessions per week

-          An Individual Assessment of Fitness level, injuries and past running record

-          A Growth Development Plan

-          Active Isolated Stretch, Cardio Vascular Endurance, Calisthenics

-          Focus on the Hip Flexor & Hip Extensor Muscles to increase the power from your Hips

-          Stabilize the Pelvis to give more range of motion (Central stability - Distal mobility)  and flexibility in the extremities

-          Improve Precision, Posture and Alignment to enhance the Gait Cycle. A good posture is a balanced pelvis and feet-leg alignment.

-          Muscle Release Technique (Stress Management) for Injury Prevention.

(Each session is between 45 -55 minutes)

Goals

-          Improve your Gait Cycle through a more efficient use of muscle power

-          Increase range of motion with fluid movement & greater capacity for speed generation

-          Gain more flexibility without compromising strength

-          Perform in the safest, strongest and most effective position

-          Decreased injury risk

Rate

-          $1,000 Pre-Paid Value Card for Ten Weeks/30 sessions.

Time: Thrice a week (Early Morning and Evening Sessions available)
